While traveling back from Yorkshire, my group and I needed a place to eat on the way home. We only ordered main courses, but the Steak and Ale Pie was really delicious. It came with garden peas, and the portion of chips was so large that we couldn't finish them all. The pie was piping hot and the hand-cut chips with skins on were cooked perfectly. We wish we weren't in the middle of a long journey because we would have loved to try a dessert. The meal was very good value for money and the service was great. This place is fabulous and the food here is exceptional. Really good size portions with interesting and delicious menu choices Evwryone chose something different and everyone was happy with their choice. The meat dishes were cooked to perfection and the desserts delicious. I would come back here again any day . Also the meals arrived quickly and were hot and we were a table of 9 ! Staff were very attentive. Cannot fault

The young man behind the bar with a dragon tattoo, who I believe said his name was Jase or Jay, was absolutely fantastic. Despite the crowded restaurant, he remained calm and attentive. He was extremely knowledgeable about both gin and wine, which I appreciate as I enjoy both. He always made time to chat with me and my partner. This guy is a valuable asset to the restaurant.

Really good food as a regular visitor I can really recommend the fleece great night pleasant atmosphere and excellent staff
