The Golden Flour bakery

Located on the main street, they have free street parking available out front. The bakery has an excellent selection of breads, rolls and sweet treats, baked on site.They also have a number of tables and chairs, for sit down meals. They have a selection of sandwiches, sausage rolls, 2 types of soup, with the usual tea/coffee/juices.I had sausage rolls, which you heat yourself in the provided microwave and tea. The sausage rolls were excellent. Very reasonable prices and great staff.

We found this bakery on a road trip when we stopped to stretch our legs. What a find! My husband and and I each had a strudel and coffee...so tasty and fresh. We then went back to order more things to share. Try the bran muffins soaked in light syrup - super moist and extra delish. And their cheese sticks are the best I've had anywhere. Friendly staff too.

We stopped here while visiting Creston recently. The woman in the bakery was so very nice and treated our grandchildren as if they were her own. It was so nice. We bought a number of baked items that peaked our taste buds. Everything that we bought was fresh, local and tasted so very good. Don't miss Golden Flour when you are here.

This is a new Bakery in Creston and has only been open a few months. The bread is excellent and is sliced thinner than normal which makes it a nice change for sandwiches. The cream rolls are excellent and so are the apple fritters. Great place to calm your cravings.

I have bought a variety of items from this bakery and they have always been delious. Staff are always polite and efficient. Good selection of different types of healthy bread and buns.

This little bakery, which will be expanding soon has got to have the best soups, baked goods in town. The coffee is good. You are always greeted with a smile. Great place for lunch.

It smells so good when you walk in the door. You can eat in as they have homestyle soups, sandwich, baked goods. Friendly staff, kid friendly

Even though I gave Hooters (downtown) a 2 star review last time, I decided to return here when they finally offered "All You Can Eat" wings.

Delicious, homemade baked products. Bagels, donuts, cakes, real sourdough. Absolutely delicious and highly recommended.
