The Good Intent

the menu was not so diverse, but the food was beautifully presented. we didn't want to have a big meal, and we just had dinner. the pate was beautiful and the chips were beautiful and clobular. the place is sufficiently spacious, so if the people have children with them, there are other convenient places to sit when the children are loud. the woman who brought us our food was diligent and did not ask annoying. we visited this place again in juni 2022 and it had a friendly atmosphere. the person behind the bar seemed a little shy and was efficient to get the drinks. it was also nice to see the beautiful decorations for the queen’s platinum jubilee.

we had dinner here in the evening, after we had walked into puttenham commons and the ribs we had were one of the best pub dishes we had ever had! the atmosphere is also beautiful, good beers/tigers and dog friendly, which is an additional bonus. we have pumped this weekend specifically for the ribs, but unfortunately it was taken from the menu hoping that it will be back at some point!

Sunday review: I find a lot of pub roasts disappoint as I have very high standards, but this is on equality with the carpenters arms (sunninghill) sunday. slightly different, but all round excellent. the plentiful lamb and bark (mixed roast) were juicy and tender! the rest of it was great! also the beer and drink selection looked good!
