overall great Jack Astor's experience as always. however was ruined by the manager (Indian guy) who decided because we were too loud to cut us off near closing time for no reason. We had staggered guests and we all paid our bills and applied generous tips. I inquired regarding the reason and he said for safety. We were a bridal party of 10 who spent good money on the service and planned accordingly for designator drivers. I inquired regarding the cut off and he had no valid reason. Oof. Like most restaurants, Jack Astors is more expensive than it used to be, and not by a small margin. However, the quality of the ingredients is much lower and portion sizes are much smaller which is a bad cocktail against a 25% raise in prices. For example:$30.99 for 2lbs of wings (no fries included, that’s an extra $4).$20 for a burger and small side of fries. Burgers? It definitely tastes like they’re using frozen patties now. RIP to the old patties; they were so good! These tasted compressed.$22 for two Coors Lights after tax and tip.Atmosphere was nice as always. Service was okay. To me, the food just isn’t worth a $100.For the price and quality of food, Toronto has many other option...

I find this to be a very family-friendly dining place. The crayon on the table might give that away. If you are just looking for a relaxing place with friends to eat and have a few drinks. This is a nice place for that. Service is decent, food is decent, starters lack choice and creativity.Parking: This location is just very busy, so after 6 on any night, parking close by will come with some challenges.Kid-friendliness: Nice menu for kids. Simple. I would recommend a fresh squeeze juice option for the little ones.

The first was excellent.order The crab and lobster dip it was on point. The steak was ok, just a bit too much fat around the edges. The burger was very good . The place was spacious and clean our waitress was very friendly and our order was super fast. Nice place for a date night or just hanging with family or friends.Parking: This restaurant is located in a mall setting, so parking was a bit tight due to other restaurants and a grocery store

My children and I had dinner here the other day. I only gave 4 stars because usually their portion sizes of fries and chicken fingers are good, but this time (my order of fries and sauced up fingers) was extremely small. I should've said something to the waiter but I didn't think it should go to waste. But next time I definitely will. BTW my order looked similar to a kid's meal, 5 chicken fingers but small, half the size they usually are.

Overall experience was good. We couldn't sit inside because it was absolutely freezing so we decided to eat outside. The music was nightclub loud, we were there for lunch and could hardly hear the person talking across the table. We asked if they could turn it down a bit, and they didn't.

The staff were wonderful. The food came out quickly. I ordered a crispy chicken sandwich with fries. I’m sad to say that the fries were terrible. They tasted old and reheated. I wish they could have made me a fresh serving. Réservez une table maintenant

We ordered vege nachos we love these and always come to Jacks Was disappointed as this time there were only a thin layer of toppings on top and rest was all chips plain We complained but they did not do anything about it

Food was 5/5 across the board. The burgers were especially excellent. Wraps were delicious. Wings were 3.5/5 but everything else was so good that I'm still giving 5 out of 5 overall.
