I would have given this restaurant 5 stars if our first choices from the menu had been available, but I understand it was a bit late in the evening. The staff was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The food was excellently prepared—our rare steak was cooked to perfection and the prices were quite reasonable. Our little dog was allowed to stay with us in the bar and, at the end of our meal, she was treated to a small dish with whipped cream. While it might not be the healthiest option for her, it was a delightful, dog-friendly gesture, and she loved the experience, just as we did.
The restaurant was easy to locate with convenient parking available. Upon arrival, we were promptly greeted and asked to sign in for contact tracing and sanitize our hands before being escorted to our table. Our service was quick, and we placed our food order shortly after. The food arrived in no time; most of us opted for the roast. For dessert, we had lemon sorbet and banana butterscotch ice cream, though the portion was surprisingly small, especially given that it was 310°C outside. Oops!

This was the first time visiting this pub in Peterborough. Good parking and the food was delicious, and so reasonably priced. Lovely friendly staff too, the place was busy, as it is very popular and I can understand why. Lots of seating for all size of parties, but would advise to pre-book if there are a lot of you. We will be visiting again soon.

Considering the night was very busy I've got too say that was a fantastic night. Brilliant service and great atmosphere. My servers Kylie,Sadie and Stacey were so helpful and giving me the best service possible. I came in with my family and they would happily come again into this establishment again. Thankyou all for such a great night
first visit here and was not disappointed. our server that looked after was great. very efficient and fast service also held a big talk that was nice as I and my wife did not go much. eating was impressive and very tasty especially for the price we paid! will come back here, was very impressed.

I visited the Gordon Arms with my partner, and we were thoroughly impressed. The service from the staff was exceptional—quick and efficient without any flaws. Our food arrived hot, and the hunters rump steak was perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning!
