I stopped visiting The Gourmet Bagel Co three years ago because I was tired of waiting 30 minutes for breakfast and not receiving what I ordered. Decided to give it another shot, but nothing has improved—if anything, it’s worse. I waited 25 minutes for my platter and an additional 5 minutes for the toast. The staff member who took my order disappeared completely. The sunny side eggs were overcooked and the well-done bacon was disappointing. If you’re looking for a good breakfast, check out other places. The menu might look promising, but the experience at The Gourmet Bagel Co is not worth it. Never again.
The Gourmet Bagel Co is my go-to spot for bagels in town. Their shredded chicken salad is fantastic, the bagel flats are generously sized, and the creamy coleslaw is delicious. My only concern is that the prices seem inconsistent depending on who takes my order. I get the same meal every week, but sometimes it costs $10.19, other times $9.23, then back to $10.19. It’s a bit strange.
We had a great experience with some delicious bagels during our visit to Long Island! On our way to MacArthur Airport, we decided to stop at The Gourmet Bagel Co to satisfy our craving for New York bagels. The bagels were incredibly fresh, still warm from the oven. The staff was very friendly and quickly took care of our order. Thank you!
Considering they serve egg sandwiches daily, you'd expect them to have it down, but sadly, that's not true. The Gourmet Bagel Co’s egg sandwiches are nothing more than disappointing messes on cheap rolls. If you don’t mind waiting 1 to 1.5 hours for a single sandwich that’s poorly prepared, this might be the place for you.
