We booked this place for a family birthday Sunday lunch after looking at their website. We booked over the phone for 11 of us and travelled the 16 miles from Swansea. When the waitress handed us the menus we were shocked to see that the prices had jumped from the website prices of 12.95 to £17.95 per adult and from £7.95 to 9.95 per child. £5 increase for adults and £2 for children. When we asked the manager she said that the website prices were old old prices. We told her that we weren 't told this when we phoned to make the booking, her reply was 'we don 't tell people '. After explaining how far we had travelled and that we couldn 't afford those prices she said she would take £2 off each...

While on holiday, we dined at the Gradon restaurant two nights in a row. The service was exceptional, especially from Nicola who was attentive to every detail. The food was delicious and diverse, with a 'Meal and a Drink' option offering great value at around £14-15, making the meal cost less than £10! The steak and ale pie was tasty and the chicken curry was wonderful. They have a great selection of drinks, including the full range of Thatcher's cider on tap. The desserts were fantastic, with a variety of sponges served with either custard or ice cream. On our first night, we enjoyed two large wines, two pints, two main courses, and two desserts for under £25 per person. This was exceptiona...

Had not visited the Gradon for a decade and had forgotten what a lovely spacious setting the upstairs restaurant was. We booked a family table for 12, the staff were very helpful and both the dinner and afters were top notch. We have done a few Sunday buffets recently and whilst these are usually cheaper, the quality here far surpassed them. There was a generous serving of your meat of choice and all the veg was freshly cooked to perfection, with an ample amount provided to the table. The cauliflower cheese was a particular treat and the gravy was fantastic. I was paying which usually gives me little indigestion, but on this occasion, I complimented myself on a good choice of venue. It won't...

The dinners were fantastic, with large Yorkshire puddings, perfectly cooked roast potatoes, and flavorful gravy poured straight from the serving plate. The meat was tender and tasty. The vegetable selection was plentiful for two people, and there was even a gravy boat on the table. The young staff, consisting of three people, were very attentive and made sure all of our needs were taken care of. They were friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere at The Gradon was relaxed and not rushed, which was perfect for us. If you're looking for a calm and laid-back dining experience, this is the place for you. I can't wait to come back and try the regular menu. I felt well taken care of and the f... Réservez une table maintenant

Although welcome dogs, it did not feel welcoming. Had to sit in the bar area listen to fowl language from loud locals who made us feel very uncomfortable. Table mats were sticky, had to ask for clean mat. Cutlery was a fork, had to ask for a knife. Gin tonic was presented in a half pint glass, no ice or lemon. The lasagne looked like a pile of vomit with the side salad being a couple of leaves with large tomatoes. I am Welsh my partner English, the locals made me feel feel uncomfortable, he felt intimidated, they made us both feel we were in their local pub shouldn’t be there. Would not recommend this place at all.

Always a beautiful meal here. We had Sunday lunch. Plenty of everything. Meat and extras arrive on a plate a vegetables are served in dishes for you to help yourself. Offers available for 1 course, 2 courses or three courses. Currently there is a delivery service available but I am not sure how long that will run for. Very friendly, welcoming and efficient staff.

The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The beef dinner was very tasty and the biscoff sundae was delicious. Although slightly expensive, the overall experience was enjoyable with good food and service.

We had Christmas lunch there and it was brilliant. You could cut the fillet steak with a butter knife and the stilton glaze was terrific. Service was second to none and the staff just want to spoil you. Réservez une table maintenant
