The Grand, certainly living up to such a name, most importantly I believe it is the atmosphere that is provided by an establishment that embellishes what a top quality restaurant ought to be. Contending with another top quality restaurant I've rated elsewhere, this restaurant provided me with a very exceptional evening. Staying at the resort so we thought on our first night we’d try out the restaurant. I am so glad we did! Our server Terence was great! He was so welcoming and friendly! We ordered the spicy garlic wings and two burgers because it was burger night. The wings came out piping hot and they had just the right amount of spice. I had ordered the crab cake burger and my spouse ordered the classic burger. He orders his burgers plain and it ended up coming out with sauce so we told our server and he did not hesitate to make it right! Within 10 minutes he had a brand new fresh burger. A refreshing surprise! I can't remember the last time I had good service and food at a restaurant. Our server Peter was thoughtful and highly attentive. He took the kids order first without us having to ask. All of our food came out hot and quick. We were asked if we wanted refills on our drinks through out the night, Peter didn't miss a beat. The food is not what you expect from a hotel restaurant, unique twists on some familiar items. Pizza was a hit with a fantastic crust. My son is a very picky eater and this was the first time he asked to try the food from all of our plates.

We are staying at the Grande Rockies Resort by Bellstar. Came down and were quickly seated. Chelsea was our server and she was most friendly and efficient. She had us setup with water and was making red wine recommendations. I ordered the pork schnitzel and potatoes and my wife ordered the quinoa wheat berry salad. Great food and fantastic service. We had lunch and it was so good we came back a few days later for breakfast. Presentation was fantastic and the chef's vegetables with my schnitzel was an unexpected treat. My wife commented on how fresh and aesthetically pleasing her salad was and the kids all loved their meals. The sauce that came with my breakfast crepe was 5 stars. Chef clearly knows their stuff.

We are staying at an Airbnb in this hotel and decided to stop by the restaurant downstairs for lunch after a hike to Eiffel Lake (around 10km and 800+ calories burned). The salads are so refreshing. Just what we needed to recharge. Our server was very friendly and accommodating despite how busy they were. Had a leisurely time with tea. Highly recommend.

We recently went there for a girls night out. The food was absolutely fabulous well presented hot and fresh! Our server was excellent and very attentive every time I looked my soda was filled up and she always had a smile on her face. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and we willbe back! Thank you for a wonderful experience!

It was a bit hard to find, not knowing it was inside the Grande Resort but once found, all was good. Our waiter was extremely friendly. He was attentive but not intrusive. The setting was nice and our salads and entrees were very good. The menu is pretty diverse so you can accommodate a variety of appetites. Réservez une table maintenant

Great place to eat. A few veggy choices and a couple that can be adapted to be vegan. We had a very friendly waiter called Will. Would definitely dine there again if I returned to Canmore.

I had the crab cake Benny. Definitely the best I’ve ever tried, very tasty crab cake with thick portion, real crab meat and great flavour. Highly recommend!
