A party of four adults arrived at the Grange Thurston today, for an afternoon tea and a possible evening meal the following evening. Arriving at the front door, wearing masks, to be met by an officious man, presumably the manager. We were told we would need to wear masks in the bar and restaurant. I stated that it would be difficult to eat and drink while wearing a mask. The response was that it was government regulations. We were then told we need to register using the NHS app. This involved scanning an app into a smart phone. I asked what if a person didn't have a smart phone and the response was it was government regulations. I tried to question the policy but the person continued to talk...
