Grange Hotel was built in 1881, is 136 years old, and has the feel of friendly old friend, that you would like to go back to.The dinning area is roomy, with a lot of natural light. They have cleverly used some of the old brick work, bare inside to give a natural look.The Hotel caters for corporate functions, romantic meals, parties and families. I visited this restaurant with my adult family of 4 for lunch. Lovely location overlooking the beach. We were seated by the window. However, with the weather on the chilly side, we found heating was lacking and area was very draughty. The venue was certainly not full at 12noon, but had to wait for a long time for staff to take drink and food orders. Menu was 'pub grub' and not anything out of the usual for this previously 'fine dining' hotel. We all ordered seafood, which was nice, but presented on grease proof paper, which when cutting the seafood also unfortunately included little bits of the paper when trying to eat - not pleasant. This is one of the remaining original seaside hotels on the Adelaide beaches. It has been modernized but still retains some original features. It is right on the seafront so you can look out over the sea as you dine. We had not been there for ages but attended a birthday dinner recently.The food was wonderful! Very good for Hotel/pub dining. Good service and a lovely ambience. Highly recommended for a good meal or special occasion without too much fuss.

I went to the Grange Hotel for lunch with a friend and it was very good. Good service, nice ambience, and excellent food and wine.I had the chicken breast and my friend had the lamb shanks - both were cooked perfectly and not a chip in sight! Just the way it should be. We had a bottle of beautiful Paracombe Sauv Blanc.The ambience was very pleasant - as was the view of the sea. Our money was well spent. Réservez une table maintenant

Stopped in for a late lunch of fish & chips with a friend. Great views right on the beach front would be a perfect spot in the summer for a long lazy lunch. Fish & chips fresh & tasty not overly generous serve enough for a light lunch thou. Make sure you get there before 2pm if you want lunch.

Had casual lunch with friends. Too busy and took ages for food and drink. Quality of food quite good. Expensive. Can see the jetty and sea. Not a bad option.

So many different options on the menu, I had the gnocchi which was amazing, just melted away in my mouth. Will be back soon. Service was also very good.

Went for lunch to the Grange Had a Caesar salad and a cider in 39 degrees Perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
