Um, bagels are life here. What else can I say. Call ahead of time for any and all questions. Its a busy spot. Parking is at a constant wave change as this store is located in mall, not to mention its downtown Morton Grove, so you might get lucky, or not, never the less, there's always more parking around the corner. Don't let the competition fool you, this place stood its time on its fairgrounds. By the way, the bagels here fly off the shelves, so make it your early bird motivation to get up and get here before your morning commute, I find that its always more pleasant to sit in morning Chicago traffic with something delicious and fresh to your liking. And the staff here hasn't messed my ord...
I ordered 4 bagels and specifically requested a jalapeño bagel and a fresh one from the warm rack. Unfortunately, the worker ignored my request and gave me a stale jalapeño bagel from the previous night without heating it up. When I asked if the bagels were warm, they said yes, but they were actually not warm at all. This experience has made me decide not to visit the Morton Grove location again.
The bagels at this restaurant are the best I have ever had. They are all made in-house and you can taste the quality. The cream cheese is delicious and comes in a variety of flavors that pair perfectly with the different types of bagels. The menu is extensive and everything I have tried has been delicious.
First had the pb and j bagel and it was good and reasonably priced. But then I had the lux, the salmon was smelly and the tomatoes tasted off. The only good thing was the cream cheese. On top of all that it was almost $13.
