The Greek Joint Kitchen

My family (wife, mother and son) enjoyed dining at the Greek joint on New Year’s Eve. The service was great thanks to Alex (Hugh Jackman’s doppelgänger), and the food was exceptional. The octopus was one of the best I’ve had yet, tender and a generous portion. The Greek salad and spanakopita also delicious and fresh as well as the branzino. I was a little underwhelmed with the presentation and portion size of the lamb shank, but was not disappointed with its flavor or texture. Considering it was a holiday, and were phasing out the dinner crowd as they set up for the NYE festivities, The Greek Joint exceeded our expectations and is at the top of our favorites list on our visit from NYC.

The food at the restaurant did not meet our expectations as it did not reflect authentic Greek food. The Ribs were dry and had no flavour. The shrimp santorini was a 2 out of 5. The shrimp were cooked in a plain tomato sauce. Nothing ‘Santorini’ about it. The service was good and the wait staff were friendly. We did give feedback to the manager and she was very receptive.

As always, the food was very tasty, beginning from different salads to main dishes and dessert. As for the party of 8, sever Alex was attentive to all the inquiries making an excellent service. We all really enjoyed tonight’s dinner.

Friendly wait staff that goes over the top to please the customer! In SoFlo that says a lot! Food is good too and we had an overall excellent time. Tip: Reserve outside table but not on the sidewalk. Réservez une table maintenant

Great place. Great food! Our server looked like she was having a hard time that day but I'm not one to count that against anybody. I understand we all have one of those days. The food was flavorful!

Food was fresh and savory. Portions were generous. Server was engaged and attentive. The baklava was just awesome.
