The Greek on Main is an excellent restaurant. The select-3-dips appetizer with pita pleased our table of 5. I was personally impressed by the quality of ingredients on my arugala lentil salad; the vegetables were so fresh, and their feta was the best feta I've ever tasted. The dessert was scrumptious, too. Food was tasty. Best spanikopita I can remember. The lobster with pasta and frappe were better versions than I have had in Athens. The branzino was the low point of the meal. It wasn't bad, but it lacked seasoning and texture of an expertly prepared whole fish. They have an ambiguous fee and discount policy which detracts from an otherwise professional environment. Just charge me what it says on the menu and raise your prices if that's not enough to sustain your business.
My husband went for a date at lunch and there was a constant alarm sound going off because the hostess decided to tape decorations setting off the door alarm. Her boss , our waitress told her to turn the radio on and we listened to mcdonald's commercials etc instead of music. I understand we were the only ones in there but it was not a nice experience. The food was okay. I had the vegetable gyro that didn't have enough sauce inside and came apart. Never again.
We came here for a large family lunch and we had a wonderful time. We basically sampled all the appetizers and everything was delicious. I had that pastitini or whatever it’s called and it was *chefs kiss* and my fiancé had the souvlaki and loved it. The service was outstanding and they really went above and beyond.
