Our group of four visited Ludlow for their spring food festival without knowing what to expect. Feeling a bit greedy, we decided to try The Green Café, which was highly recommended by our B&B host. The café was charming with outdoor seating, but we chose to sit indoors due to the chilly weather. The space was small, seating about 25-30 people, and was always busy, so reservations are recommended. The Green Cafe is situated in a beautiful location next to the River Teme, near Dinham Bridge and Ludlow Castle in the UK. During our visit, the sun was shining, and customers were enjoying snacks and drinks at the takeaway counter or relaxing on the patio. The small interior accommodates around 25 guests, so booking a table is recommended. The menu changes regularly to showcase seasonal ingredients. Green room has gone a bit downhill since owner changed opening times its not as it use to be. Most of the nice staff have gone, sometimes you walk by and see produce for the cocktails outside in all weather until someone takes it in, who doesnt like tommys sneeze germs on your lime ‍.

I agree with the previous review: this restaurant may appear to be a regular cafe, but it is actually a hidden gem. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and the location is beautiful. Additionally, the prices are reasonable.
