I was extremely shocked by the customer service at GreenBank yesterday. I visited with some friends who are all local teachers. We had two tables next to each other, with one table in a walkway. One particular server continuously made rude faces and tutted at us every time she walked past, because one of our children was "in the way". Despite our kids behaving well and playing quietly, we were made to feel unwelcome. The server even went as far as to say, "I've never seen people look after their kids worse than you", which was completely uncalled for. One of my friends, who is recovering from an operation and battling cancer, placed his bag on a chair for easy access, and the server rudely s...

Agreeable updated clearly antique boozer in Greenbank, close to Easton. We enjoyed a terrific Sunday roast we chose the pork, which came with lots of delicious crackling, Yorkshire Pud etc. With cauliflower cheese, another main and plenty of booze (wine, **** Mary, Stout), the bill came to £89.04 for three. Nice friendly service, including bringing drinks to tables. Only slight negative: the canned music was a bit loud and intrusive.

After recently returning to the area, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this lovely pub has undergone significant improvements since the 90s. The atmosphere, staff, and food were all exceptional. We stopped by for Sunday lunch, and despite it being very busy, they were able to accommodate us. I'm grateful they did because the roast we had was one of the best I've had in years, perfectly complemented by a delicious red wine.

Having visited on a couple of occasions I've always felt the owner and staff think of themselves as a cut above. Sure there are some nice (overpriced! local ales on offer but ultimately it is pretty bog standard in here. Much nicer, proper local pubs just a short walk away. Réservez une table maintenant

We had yet another amazing lunch time meal. Very tasty, well presented and plenty. Great value. £19 a head for three courses. The staff are all very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely return again soon. Thanks again

It was very quiet and the staff seemed busy entertaining each other but food was good. I had the lamb which was very spicy which I like and different but in a v good way.The fish cooked nicely and a good burger.

Had the pan fried haddock on a bed of leeks and crushed potatoes in a beautiful sauce. Rick Stein would have been proud to produce this but would have charged at least twice as much. Excellent. Thank you.

Had 2 excellent takeaway Sunday lunches, one veggie and one pork, both equally delicious. Would have liked a bit more gravy but that was easily rectified with the help of some gravy granules. Réservez une table maintenant

First time here visiting family locally. Great atmosphere. Family oriented. Lovely beer and good food too. This place doesn 't 'pretend ' to be anything. Clean and bright.
