From the outset I'm biased. Having said that I love back street pubs and discovering them. This one of my favourites, even better I'm local to it. Tom great landlord of the old school. Great cellar, for maybe only a few real ales but never had a bad one. Food at reasonable rates, excellent quality. The building is very welcoming l, split between public and saloon with a real Victorian craved screen. Fabulous out door drinking in expensive comfortable seating and your bound to find a conversation from one of the clientele or at least a lick from one of the nicest pub dogs iv ever met (canine) haha.
