“A grifter might be a pickpocket, a crooked gambler, scammer, or a confidence man.” Then consider me fooled … as on today’s mini brewery crawl thru Marrickville the best beer of the day was had right here at Grifter The Peach Melba Sour. A hint of sweetness, a hint our sourness, unmistakably beer and altogether refreshing! This dog friendly brewery has its entrance via the garage doors, and opens up into an expansive seating and bar area, warm with mirth and strong on ambience. Getin and get on the grift!

Visited on a weekend afternoon, and immediately hit by a wall of sound. Certainly a combination of the echoey open-warehouse environment and its overall popularity.The brewery's own range of beers were all on tap, and made for a delicious afternoon of tasting at a reasonable (albeit far from cheap) price. Didn't try any of the food.However for me personally, it was just too obnoxiously loud so I won't be back, at least on a weekend.

The Grifter Brewing Co is a top brewery, housed in an old industrial warehouse. The decor is eclectic with a pool table, a bunch of vintage books, lamp shades and some skateboard decks on the walls. It feels in fitting with the Marrickville area in which this pub is located. The vibe is fun, with couples, groups of friends catching up and some cool tunes playing. We note you can also bring your dog.

Les bières étaient très bien. Mais ce qui m'a le plus dérangé, c'est le savon que vous avez utilisé dans la salle de bain. Il avait un énorme goût de fleurs et jeté le goût de l'un des autres bières que j'avais à cet endroit. Chaque bière que j'avais après avoir utilisé la salle de bain goûtée comme des fleurs. Il a fallu un certain temps pour le déterminer, mais c'était certainement le problème. Réservez une table maintenant

Lovely staff. Regularly changing beer menu. Recommend getting the tasting board. You get 4 small beers for $12 and get to select what you want to try. Great atmosphere and never packed out, so you can talk and get a seat. Always a good playlist and have a food truck on weekends. You can also order in your own food. Get a dark beer and order in pizza. FYI they only serve beer

Very laid back and relaxed brewery in Marrickville. Great staff, great beers - usually 8 on tap at any one time. Simple snacks and non alcoholic drinks as well as merchandise available. Every now and then a pop up food stall will turn up.

Hidden down the back in an old warehouse this well laid out brewery and bar area is a great find. Pony and middy sized serves indicate the small production volume, but the flavours are on the money. Take home a squealer of your favorite.
