The Grill - Réservation de table

My family and I recently went to The Grill for dinner -- four adults and two kids (under 10). We ordered pre-dinner pints as well as appetizers and entrees for all. The food was fine, the usual fare. What I'm still shaking my head at, is that after 2-3 drinks we were cut off of drinking and shamed by the staff. We ordered wine with our main course and after pouring two glasses (from a bottle we paid $60 for) our server informed us that she had to cork the rest -- we could take it with us, but we could not drink the second half of the bottle. This place is ideally situated on the water looking out at the locks in Severn with lots of dock parking for boating traffic. This is however, the only positive thing I would say about this restaurant. When we arrived, we stood in line behind several people. The people in front of us indicated that we needed to give the person our names as all of the others had already done so. We did so and then stood to wait. While we were waiting a group that had been there asked her how much longer it would be and were told their name had been called and they now had to put their name back on. We were enjoying our meal and drinks.Pizza acceptable as was the peanut chicken.We had had a glass of wine each and decided to try the Margaritas, they were delicious,best we had had for a while.We ordered another Margarita each but were refused as we had had 3 units each already!! We went there Holiday Monday for breakfast. When we got there we didn't think they were open, but they were but said they had opened early since it was a holiday, but I guess people did not know. After we had been there fifteen minutes or so., people started to come. My husband had eggs, bacon & home fries which were probably prepared. I had a peameal and cheese melt on a bun with home fries which was excellent just too big so I took half home. The waitress came several times to see if we wanted more coffee. Breakfast menu is limited no omelettes for example. You are sitting on the water and they have inside and outside seating with a roof, so you can watch the boats go by. Réservez une table maintenant

We have made this a stop several times while heading north to the cottage, all seasons. Had the opportunity to stop there this week while on a SeaDoo tour from Orillia to Georgian Bay. Ample dock space and docks are in great condition. The restaurant was busy, as it usually is. They have a huge menu. They pride themselves in not having a deep fryer, meaning everything is oven baked. I'd recommend their pizza or wings.

I visited Port Severn over Easter weekend and happened upon The Grill. I couldn't have been more fortunate. The location is fantastic, with great views, friendly staff, and food that is as amazing as can be. I ordered the baby back ribs and my wife ordered the New York steak. Both dishes were expertly prepared and a joy to devour. I highly recommend this restaurant.

beautiful location right on the water. Lots of choices for dinner. Waitress was very friendly. Food was delicious. I had a burger. It was awesome. My husband had the ribs. He said it was good but probably wouldn't get it again. Great place to go. Would definitely go back!

Wir haben hier mehrfach lunch und Dinner gegessen während unseres Urlaubs in Christies Mill. Es war immer hervorragend vor allem auch in Bezug auf das Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Der Service war sehr nett.Die Terrasse direkt am See hat uns gut gefallen. Réservez une table maintenant

Recently went for lunch with a friend, I was impressed with how organized this place is. The service was fast and friendly. From the young lady who sat us to the manager thanking us as we left. Food was fast hot and great !!!

Had a great lunch out on the deck. Chicken wings, BLT, and beef were all good. Lovely atmosphere watching the boats go by.
