what a sound! derek found this place on the phone and I'm so glad he did. I had one of the best lasagnes I've ever had, from the nicest, friendly staff who couldn't do enough for us. derek had fish and chips, the fish was huge, with REAL chips! he couldn't finish it and that says something. we sat in their beautiful conned beer garden, surrounded by flowers, under a sunshade that was welcome today. I really recommend this place!

We had a takeaway Sunday lunch , delivered to Pandy today. It was absolutely stunning. Highly recommend anyone who doesn't feel like cooking to use the Grofield. The chap delivering was lovely, the food outstanding and , what we found a really impressive little touch, was that all 5 meals came on proper China plates and not in cartons.

Lovely friendly pub. Even though we had a slight hic up with our food. It was rectified immediately. The double burger with stilton melted cheese and bacon in a brioche bun was lovely. Generous portions using good quality ingredients.

I've loved going to Abergavenny for years didn't know about the Grofield. Absolutely beautiful place friendly staff and great food. It was a perfect day to use the beer garden and I'm glad we did. Highly recommended to all.

beautiful beer garden. eating is excellent and good value for money. andrew, sian, chantelle and the staff are super friendly. this Saturday, the 4th august, is cocktail night!

had a nice reception, the children took the dogs in the beer garden had a nice meal with a few cold drinks. will be back soon! highly recommended!
