Eating at The Ram can be a bit hit or miss. The restaurant has a cool and understated decor in a charming old building, creating a decent atmosphere for a Friday night during the pandemic. The food is imaginative and well-prepared, and not overly expensive. However, the service is lacking. The staff are friendly but inattentive, forgetting to provide enough plates and cutlery for the diners and causing delays that made the food cold. Some items were missing from the menu, such as cheese polenta and coffee, and there were no knives or plates provided with the cheese board.
