This place made an already horrific day even worse. I got a fish and chip and....yikes. Very low quality, mushy fish with bland breading. It tasted exactly like those cheap boxes of Gordon 's fish you get from the freezer section at the grocery store. Fries somehow managed to be burnt, bland and cold at the same time. The coleslaw was missing most of the ingredients. They served me plain cabbage and carrots in a bowl with parsley on it. They must be overstocked on parsley because it came on EVERYTHING we ordered. My friend ended up with ice cold clam chowder and some painfully mediocre mac and cheese that cost 20 dollars and tasted like it was out of a box. The service was pretty good/friend...
Don’t go there if you are a black… The first impression was ok for the place but after I had my drink the bartender asked me to lower my cell phone volume. My phone wasn’t that loud and I’m a very quiet person overall. He told me I could “bother” other people… Guess what?: a white lady next to me had the phone louder listening to music and he didn’t say anything to her. Just a cherry on to of the cake, I saw the same bartender grabbing a Red Bull from the fridge under the camera, walking away off that, open the can for himself and start to to drink it. Too bad because the food is great and the drinks are good. Parking is limited.
One of my favorite dive bars with an amazing summer menu. Lobster rolls and clams for a decent price, good portions and no wait AND you don't have to drive into the city for any of it Trivia nights are also great, but sit closer to the guy because it's the pen/paper/ runner style instead of the modern ones where you submit on your phone. I love the staff here, they always get the job done right.
Every time we visit Halfway, there is something new. This time it was the chile (new to me) which had large chunks of beef, and a good dollop of sour cream. My wife had steak tips with sweet potato fries delicious sauce. We'll be back.

A local bar that it unassuming from the outside and many might drive right by. The food is very good reasonably priced and the staff is friendly and attentive.c

Went here on a Wednesday evening for dinner and it was fairly quiet.
Great food and neighborhood atmosphere. Friendly service. Couldn’t ask for more! Try the wings and burgers.
