The quality of food is good but we had a very poor dining experience due to the poor communication among staff. We dined at table #50 around 8pm on Sat 7 January 23. Here are a few negative experiences below. 1. We ordered two Sea Food for Two but only one was delivered along with other main meals. My partner and I watched others finish their main meal then I had to approach a staff member at the bar table for such a query. The staff member told me that the Chief thought it was double up so they simply cancelled one of the two Sea Food for Two without notifying us. One thing I want to mention before I want to write a review. Any restaurant or hotel for guests never says to walk away while you eating food or having your food on the table because the food comes first to fill-full our stomach. I understand the staff needed to go home everyone had to go home but we mention politely please give us 10min of time so we will finish what we have on the table same time we are a bit confused and miscommunicated about the bistro closing time. We were greeted by the least interested person in the world on arrival. No personality what so ever. Although the place was busy, our meals were bought out in good time. The chicken schnitzel was the definition of a '70 's pub meal. The salad was laughable. Kids were running everywhere like it was little athletics. There was a verbal fight, that almost became physical, between two, maybe three different families. The staff had NO IDEA how to control it. The 'venue manager ' was extremely under skilled at diffusing the situation, yelling in the face of some of the people, as were other staff. There were no security staff to intervene. To start the guy on the till put the wrong table number down, I may well have been speaking a foreign language. Most of the meals arrived $148 worth , my wife’s meal appeared to have been missed. On making enquires I was informed that everything had been served, then it appears that the missing food items were delivered to another table. After 30mins the missing food arrived absolutely stone cold. On speaking with the manager she was very good , she apologised on behalf of the staff and offered a refund. Safe to say I won’t be back. Went to Hallam onFriday with family I ordered the southern fried chicken well it came out look nice but I couldn’t eat it it was hot and spicy it literally talk my breath away it burnt the roof of my mouth it had little blisters in it I offered a piece to my brother in-law who loves really very hot and spicy food even he couldn’t eat it . I told the staff about it and they really couldn’t have cared less very disappointed as I love southern fried chicken but I learnt my lesson never again
