The Harbour Kitchen

I'd actually booked this restaurant for dinner thinking it was another I'd been to previously. How delighted was I that it was even better, especially as we had friends with us! I'd booked 2 tables and they'd kindly seated them next to eachother. The selection...of drinks was extensive the kids had the most incredible milkshakes whilst the grown-ups had cocktails. The food menu had so much choice it's definitely the place to go if you like burgers. I had the Avocado Cuddle' with sweet potato fries on a gluten free bun. A bit disappointing. I ordered a cream tea as they advertised. Scone, Butter, Jam and Cream. Drink of choice. £6.50. Only a scone and cream arrived, 5 minutes after my drink. I had to ask at the counter for the butter and jam. I was...told quite sharply that “ most people only have one, or the other”! I told her it’s advertised as jam, butter AND cream. She begrudgingly gave it to me. I go to lots of places around the country and treat myself to a cream tea. I expect to have what is advertised and I pay for. I don’t expect to be served something different than I ordered, or be told off when I point it out. I won’t go back.

My sister visited me on the island. Although we were only here for a few days, we eat here twice. The food was fresh and tasty and the decor was clean and comfortable. We had some lovely conversations over some delicious... lunches. Would recommend the Cioppino. Friendly staff too.

What a treat fab restaurant tucked in the Cowes hight street . Such high standard service fab little cube that you use of service works really well . Lots of local items on the menu we went to enjoy DumplingDumplings . Réservez une table maintenant

Day trip to a Cowes for the first time and saw this venue on trip advisor, quirky little venue, great staff, and a mention to Callum who looked after us well, ordered several dishes we could share and really good food

Found this lovely restaurant on the first day in Cowes. We had great options for vegetarian food. Ordering was easy. The meal was delicious. Would recommend this place.

Great place, delicious food and good portions for the money. Rosemary fries are fabulous. Hard shakes calorific but a must!
