The Hare And Hounds

Four of us for lunch. One sausage/mash good, one gammon good, one steamed fish, good. One fish/chips, very poor tasteless fish, frozen chips. If you're going to use frozen chips then buy the best. These weren't good at all. It will be sometime before we go again.

We visited for the first time today for Sunday Lunch. We both had roast lamb and the meal was faultless. The service was impeccable. Congratulations and thank you to the management and team for a great meal and overall experience. We shall be back.

I stayed for a night whilst catching up with friends in the area. Accommodation was extremely comfortable and clean, food and service excellent. The bar on Friday night had a lovely atmosphere, with a mix of locals and guests.

Really lovely service, great food and really nice portion sizes. We came for a family dinner and were totally blown away by the pub, it’s a must if you’re in the area such a friendly atmosphere, we love it!!!

Fabulous food and plenty of it. We love going here to eat when we are in the area. We have not had a bad meal yet. My husband's Ploughman's lunch was a masterpiece, worth every penny.
