Visited for a friend's birthday, and had a delicious meal again (our third visit, not our last! with very friendly service. The new menu had just started so no lamb kebabs for me this time, but made up for it with chicken kebab, while friends had Lancashire hotpot and gammon steak. Beautifully cooked vegetables, always a good sign. Highly recommended, and a lovely situation too.

Gorgeous pub, delicious food and great friendly courteous staff what more could you want. Visited with my family and enjoyed the steak/mushroom pie: delicious pea purée very tasty and well presented. Dog friendly, plenty of seating, huge garden area at back with seating at front...
