The Hare Hounds

The hare and hounds is a fantastic pub. I have been there lots and lots..It has a great country pub atmosphere, it very nicely decorated, has seating outside too which looks out onto the countryside and is lovely in summer. The food is outstanding for a pub, they have some unusual beers and a great selection of wine. The atmosphere is great. On occasions like burns night they put on special menus which is good.

I visited the restaurant today and ordered the fish and chips. The portion of fish was very small, almost like a fish finger, and there was too much batter. It was disappointing and definitely the worst meal I have ever paid for.
