As a first-time visitor from out of town, I was not disappointed and can definitely understand why this place is always bustling. For the price, the portion sizes are excellent. I chose the famous pastrami sandwich along with the wet (gravy) fries, and every bite was incredibly satisfying. Pairing it with the tasty orange bang soda was a perfect choice! Despite the crowd, the staff was quick and efficient in taking orders and preparing food. The atmosphere evokes a charming nostalgia with its classic 50s/60s diner vibe. Enjoying a meal and relaxing in their outdoor seating area at night was a delightful experience.
Greasy spoon diner. Filling foods that taste great. It'll clog your arteries but it hits just right. Do they put addictive substances in their food or what lol. I couldn't eat here often but when I do I am satisfied. Portions are so big there's always leftovers. Brought a friend whose never been and the cashier explained the menu talked about options and what people like the most and really helped him decide. So courteous and friendly. We came close to 8pm, plenty of parking and open table. Every Table was immaculate.
The pastrami here is amazing, and the portions are huge. Definitely worth the visit if you haven't been ?? Parking: Plenty of parking that wraps around the building, lots of shade too depending on the time of day. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible, well maintained parking lot and sidewalk. The entrance is also wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair no problem. Low tables for seating as well.
I had a craving for chili cheese fries and a double cheeseburger. I polished off the chili fries, but I had to take the cheeseburger home because there was just so much food!

The pastrami sandwiches and chili French fries are delicious, and the staff is friendly with excellent service.
