The Heathers - Réservation de table

i have to start by saying i have given this place a review before a few years ago and it's that long since we have given the new owners a go. first off the staff are all friendly and welcoming the drinks were nicely chilled, I booked a table for early evening what i didn't know at the time we were a week early lol but the staff accommodated us perfectly in fact they went the extra mile as the restaurant area was closed and now is only used on a Sunday or for special booking but they allowed us to eat in the main restaurant when we asked the food was nicely cooked and served and offered value for money and yes we will be returning.

Today 15th June 2021, the Anglican local church had a meal here to bid farewell to friends who are returning to the UK. We booked the restaurant exclusively and over 50 people attended. The food was first class and Ally, Julie and their team made the whole afternoon a stress free, joyous afternoon. I highly recommend this venue if you want a private party, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you so much for an excellent meal.

yesterday the local Anglican church had a private party at the heather’s, departing to friends who returned to Britain. the afternoon was a great joy. more than 50 participants visited and ally, julie and their team were fabulous, eating was first class and service excellent. Not sure if it was salt beef, or just a tonne of salt in the beef curry, but couldn't eat it and gave me dreadful indigestion, went home and was horribly sick. Once it was out of my system I was fine, so definitely the food and not a bug.

this is a great bar, with a winter quiz every Thursday. my host pete and lisa are both very friendly. at the moment it is short a cook, once the sorted it will be good. now worth a visit!

only a quick box stop, but the owners were so welcoming and friendly, excellent selection of drinks and beautiful chilled atmosphere. many thanks for the hospitality, enjoyed it

Julie and Alan make you very welcome. Home made deserts.. We went on steak night. 2fillets for 20 euros. Cooked to perfection. A great find. Réservez une table maintenant

Food is very very good, only downside I had was I had to change 3 pints as the glasses were dirty inside
