Der Service war ziemlich schlecht, wir mussten nach Tischplatzierung 25min warten um endlich die Getränkebestellung aufgeben zu können. Alle anderen Gäste, welche viel später platziert wurden, wurden zuerst bedient. Ebenfalls wurde uns die Weinkarte erst nach zweimaligem nachfragen gebracht und bis heute kein Wein zur Bestellung aufgenommen. Der Burger war lauwarm und das Fleisch nicht durch (nach der Garstufe wurde gar nicht erst gefragt). Als wir dann zahlen wollten mussten wir fast einen Tanz aufführen um nicht ignoriert zu werden. Und das ist bei einem 4 Sterne Hotel- Restaurant und eher hochpreisigem Essen einfach schade.
When walking in, you feel intrigued by the design of the restaurant, but the pleasure stops there. The food is expensive yet mediocre quality. We had the Frisella as a starter, simple tomatoes on dried bread with olive oil. What can go wrong? Well, no seasoning, no olive oil (despite asking the waiter the oil never arrived), no love. The Lamb and Beef meat balls served in a tagine, could have been served in IKEA. They were straight from a freezer warmed up by a cold hearted chef. The hotel is the beautiful bride, the restaurant is the little brother who picks his nose in front of guests….an embarrassment I’m afraid.

We came for dinner right before our cinema visit next door. Service was friendly but also a bit weird including flirtiness with a table of women nearby. They definitely got more attention than us… not appropriate from our perspective. Food came quickly and tasted great. The restaurant has more potential, especially from the services side. We stopped here because there were not many places open at 8:30pm, but it turned out to be a great experience. The restaurant was full so the manager offered us a drink to wait at the bar. The woman at the bar offered to serve us the food if we were too hungry to wait. The manager ended up coming to get us shortly after we got our drinks and showed us to our table. The other servers were also so friendly and the food was delicious.
I’m used to pretty fine dining in Swiss restaurants, especially when they are part of high stars hotels. Unfortunately, this one is an exception. The courses were very average and the mezze selection poor. The wine too wasn’t anything special. Many complained about the slow service. It wasn’t speedy Gonzalez but as Italian I’m used to people taking it easy. All over, I wouldn’t come back even for way cheaper prices.
Very welcoming staff they recognised us on the 2nd and 3rd evening. Lots of vegetarian options but also delicious burger and Sushi which is freshly prepared when you order. The decor in The Deli is great with a huge amount of attention to detail. Réservez une table maintenant
