The Hide Diner - Réservation de table

Die Vorspeise war sehr lecker, ich habe sogar statt 4 gefüllte Reisblätter 5 bekommen. Meine Begleitung hatte eine riesen Portion Hummus. Gut gewürzt sehr lecker.Beim Hauptgang fingen die Probleme an: Als ich nach der Koriandersauce in meinem Gericht fragte, die ich nunmal einfach nicht geschmeckt habe, bekam ich forsch die antwort „Ist dran. Normalerweise beschweren sich die Gäste, dass es zu viel ist“ so nach dem Motto „Was ist denn mit Ihnen falsch?“ Später bekam ich dann ein risen Topf Koriandersamen hinGEKNALLT. When walking in, you feel intrigued by the design of the restaurant, but the pleasure stops there. The food is expensive yet mediocre quality. We had the Frisella as a starter, simple tomatoes on dried bread with olive oil. What can go wrong? Well, no seasoning, no olive oil (despite asking the waiter the oil never arrived), no love. The Lamb and Beef meat balls served in a tagine, could have been served in IKEA. They were straight from a freezer warmed up by a cold hearted chef. The hotel is the beautiful bride, the restaurant is the little brother who picks his nose in front of guests….an embarrassment I’m afraid.

We came for dinner right before our cinema visit next door. Service was friendly but also a bit weird including flirtiness with a table of women nearby. They definitely got more attention than us… not appropriate from our perspective. Food came quickly and tasted great. The restaurant has more potential, especially from the services side. We stopped here because there were not many places open at 8:30pm, but it turned out to be a great experience. The restaurant was full so the manager offered us a drink to wait at the bar. The woman at the bar offered to serve us the food if we were too hungry to wait. The manager ended up coming to get us shortly after we got our drinks and showed us to our table. The other servers were also so friendly and the food was delicious. Réservez une table maintenant

Das Essen war lecker. Das Personal war unterbesetzt und daher überfordert. Die arme Servicemitarbeiterin musste die ganze Terrasse alleine bedienen. Es gab lange Wartezeiten. Die Tische wurden auch nicht für neue Gäste abgeräumt. Die Gäste wirkten teils genervt.

We came here on the first night when staying at The Hide. Had expected it to be at least good but it turned out to be very average and unimpressive. Nothing really to strongly recommend or criticise; just average. Service however friendly and attentive.

Very welcoming staff they recognised us on the 2nd and 3rd evening. Lots of vegetarian options but also delicious burger and Sushi which is freshly prepared when you order. The decor in The Deli is great with a huge amount of attention to detail.

Die Speisekarte ist sehr verlockend. Das Ambiente wunderbar und bietet ein etwas anderes Flims zum Wohlfühlen und Geniessen. Die Bedienung Service war sehr freundlich und angenehm. Zum Essen: Leider war unser Essen etwas kalt. Réservez une table maintenant

Had dinner here while skiing in Flims. While it all looked the part, wasn’t that impressed with the food nor the service. Expensive for what it was

It’s a good restaurant. Nice atmosphere. Convenient located in a mall and outside places. We didn’t eat much but enjoyed the house wine.
