When I saw this restaurant in Uber Eats, I just want to order, unfortunately this restaurant is only operated from 8:00 to 16:00 therefore I can’t order my dinner.I decide to give it a try on my day off, surprisingly it didn’t disappoint me. I order an appetizer meatballs, it is very juicy and tasty, the tomato sauce is perfectly balancing the dish.The second dish is fish and chips, they use halibut instead of cod or pollock, the price is very reasonable $17.50 which is cheaper than the other famous brands. I was at Home Depot and my beagle, Maggie, needed a walk. That’s when I discovered The Hideout and was surprised to find a diner right in the middle of a parking lot surrounded by businesses. Maggie and I settled down at a nice outdoor deck. I ordered a burger and fries, and I was impressed by the low price coupled with high quality and generous portions! I was hesitant to share a bit with Maggie, but ultimately gave in. You should definitely check this place out!
This restaurant is absolutely amazing and reliable. It's always a bit of a risk with an international menu, as the quality can be hit or miss, but I'm telling you every dish here is exceptional in both quality and freshness. I tried the Cajun tuna Caesar salad, and it was fantastic. The lettuce was crisp, and the tuna was perfectly seared with a flavorful seasoning that wasn't too spicy. I give it a 10 out of 10 and highly recommend this hidden gem in Vancouver.
This is a great Hide Out for delicious food. I had the avocado toast with salmon(extra) and waffles and wife said they were delicious. Can't wait to come back here for lunch. Service was above and beyond, staff were all so friendly and sweet. Has the feel of a local best kept secret. My husband and I ate outside in the full sun (which was what we wanted) on their little patio behind Home Depot. Price was very reasonable. Will definitely return as we live in the neighbourhood and the portion size was huge!
Amazing hidden little gem! This cozy little diner is warm and friendly while serving the most flavourful and generous proportioned dishes. Their ravioli is made fresh in house and the coffee is wonderful. Their pricing is also super reasonable for the quality they're serving up. Love a good mom and pop shop.
Unpretentious high quality family diner. Good food well prepared, reasonable prices, big portions, extensive menu, daily specials. Friendly service. Odd location, difficult to access without a car. Nice view of the mountains (and the Home Depot parking lot) from the booths.
