The Hide Steakhouse

We stopped by for lunch and drinks at noon on a Thursday before our train. We shared a cheese and ham toasted sandwich, a beef baguette, fries, and sweet potato fries. The food was fresh and delicious. We spent under £35 for two main dishes, two sides, and two drinks. The pub was bustling for a Thursday lunchtime, and the service was very friendly. Fitzwilliam station is just a 10-minute walk away, making it an ideal spot for dinner or drinks while waiting for your train. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

On a super busy Sunday the staff managed to squeeze us in (two walk ins) unbelievable experience super friendly just look at the pictures hosted for the chicken roast beef dinners we ordered. Everything tasted so good so FRESH!!! We actually took a walk over to the open plan kitchen to than the chefs personally for their amazing efforts. Absolutely fantastic Sunday dinners here! We opted for the turkey dinner, and it did not disappoint—truly authentic home-cooked flavors. This was definitely one of the best meals we've had in a long time! Fantastic staff and customer service. Plenty of parking. I believe expensive on looking at other similar offers. That said would recommend as food is good quality.
