We had Sunday lunch here and it was superb. The roast lamb was so tender and the portion size was very generous with lovely fresh vegetables and I had cauliflower cheese on the side. My husband had the chicken tikka skewers with chips which was beautifully presented and delicious he said. Our friend had a steak which was superbly cooked and he said that it was very tasty. For desserts we had waffles with ice cream. There is a very good menu choice and the prices are extremely good value, The service is first class with very pleasant staff. All in all a lovely place to dine out with a very friendly and safe environment. I would highly recommend the restaurant and bar.
Back from our holiday in England I just have to say that, after a long journey from Cologne in our mobile home, walking into the Hinds Head was just about as close to Heaven as I'm ever going to get! The pub itself, so warm and cosy, the smell of their wonderful food, the welcoming staff I wish I could put it into a bottle for a bad day! The food was heavenly too, especially the roast.
