We visited The Hive at Ribby Hall for lunch on Friday afternoon. The service was lovely, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, both my mother-in-law and I became quite unwell over the weekend. We had different chicken dishes, and this was the only meal we had eaten that day, which has led us to suspect there may have been an issue with the food. We also felt it was worth mentioning that neither of our meals was served hot and, in fact, they were not even warm when they arrived at the table. While we cannot say whether this was connected to our illness, it was disappointing and something we feel should be looked into. Went for breakfast but can't comment on the evening meals. Breakfast was great, better than I expected, nothing greasy everything was hot and really good quality as well, really nice bacon and sausage and just a really great breakfast and a generous portion too. There were two waitresses working that we saw who both fantastic and attentive even though it was getting busier. We ordered using the QR system which is a doodle, my only gripe is you ask for a tip before the customer has even got any kind of service which sort of defeats the purpose of tipping. Really good breakfast and set us up for the day We left a cash tip btw (great service and food)
Decided to eat here on our first night as we was taking our toddler to the disco within the hive. Ordered via QR code and no joke, less than 5 minutes later all the food arrived fish and chips, fish fingers and chips, chicken strips and wedges) all deep fried within an inch of its life, oily and very greasy. Didn't eat all and felt unwell afterwards. Pricing was around 15-20£ for a meal to be expected for in house food however quality is lower than poor) Would not recommend for food. Drinks service was very quick and toddler enjoyed disco.
Would highly recommend, had multiple dinners here of good standard. I want to especially thank Katelynn as she had a lovely demeanour and always served us with a smile. She was always up for a gab and really went out of her way to maximise the experience for us, for example double checking the iced coffee wasn't too strong after serving. Her cheery personality truly went a long way and made a huge difference to our meal.

Last night my daughter and partner went for food to The Hive, he ordered a chicken tikka. No alcohol drank, came home as soon as they ate. They walked home to Kirkham. Not even one hour later he began with tummy ache then vomiting until all the food was out. It definitely was the food as he was feeling better after. This wasn’t the first time a member of my family has been sick after eating at this place!
Disgrace removing facilities for Owners and holidaymakers to facilitate parties for general public Absolute joke Ribby hall fees each year goes up but constantly taking away for outside gain First the pancake hut to make room for more nursery spaces now this! Owners are waking up and holiday makers will see through it
Food was really bad. Salmon didn't taste right and smelled off so I returned it to the kitchen, the duty manager said it was ok as nobody else had complained about the fish tonight other than me. . Shocking service and definitely won't be returning
Stayed this weekend with my friend and our teenage girls. Had the best time with all of the activities in The Hive. Jack was really good and managed to get all four of us on stage!!!! Would definitely recommend this for Christmas

Food. The food was like a weater spoons. like jjust been put in the microwave : service=great service. as soon as i ordered it came atmosphere=BEST ATMOSPHERE AT RIBBY HALL. BINGO BLASTING MUSIC ON
The food was disgusting I had the cheese burger with fries and peas the peas were hard the burger was pink the fries were OK the atmosphere was bad there was a lot of screaming and crying baby's
