The Hobbyist - Réserver une table

The Hobbyist has what many cafes lack these days. They have an understanding of their espresso pulls and the art of making a drink to give you a beautifully presented beverage with the right flavor as well. I had a few of their selection. The chai latte is exactly what a chai latte should be. It didn't taste overly sweet like many do and the different spices and herbs of the chai were present and clear. Their espresso was also wonderful. I'm not usually someone who enjoys just straight espresso but I suppose I do when it is done right. The Hobbyist does it right. The live band in the background also helped add to the experience. Very pleased.

The food was great. The service… needed work. It took over an hour to get our food. The music was up in a way where you had to raise your voice to talk. You gotta know the good cafe from the first step by the great smell of coffee. And that’s what you can experience at the Hobbyist. The coffee is absolutely good! real taste of espresso if you’re looking for. However it was a bit time taking precess for two cups of cappuccino in not a very busy day. The location is kinda in a remote area.

I love this place, we eat there as often as we can. Excellent food and service. Patio dining is awesome. My only complaint is that the menu never changes. I don't want to see the dishes I love disappear, but it would be cool to see something special now and again.

Nice spot to meet up with a friend for coffee. I was there on a Saturday morning. A lot of seating available. I also bought some beer and wine to go. I had the cold brew and it was good. Overall a cute spot!
