The Hole In The Wall

Been for the 2nd time in a couple of months at just after 9pm on a Saturday. Told that the pub was closed but it was still busy and people still actively ordering at the bar. This is the second time this has happened and gives you the feeling there is a bit a bit of an elitist 'lock-in ' crowd there. Very sad as used to like to drop in for an occasional pint. Not a very friendly business model really. At least the Barleymow round the corner is happy to take my money, not question who I am and pour me a decent pint.

Arranged to meet here after work for drinks. Busy pub with great friendly atmosphere. 3 real ales available even on a Tuesday, all from Flowerpots brewry and all well kept and priced. Highly recommended, wellworth the effort to get here. Great pub, highly recommended.

Popped in for a pint before eating next door. Service was good and the place is nice. The beer is well kept but my IPA tasted a bit like mouthwash to me. I am sure this was just my personal taste as I enjoy most middle-of-the-road ales.

We visited Sunday afternoon and having visited once before, great to see nothing has changed. A lovely locals pub, serving great ales with very welcoming staff. Well done during these difficult times….

we visited to sample the ales here, we had been 2 years ago on a recommendation. It was just as good this time, several ales on tap and pump. Not a lager drinkers pub! Well worth a visit.
