The Honky Tonk Saloon

I've been wanting to check this place out and I finally did. It was a good and enjoyable find. Its just off US 81N in Dunmore, Pa. I had the half pound make your on burger. I was impressed the burger was large with fried onions and America cheese and the bun was a story to its self. Have plenty of knapkin your need it the cheese was cheeseyer, the meat was meatier and the bun stayed together to the last bite and the fries were right on. It's a local joint with older couples. At present the bar isn't open and no line dancing due lack of staff. Getting back on 81N is a little tricky so use Google maps.

I experienced prompt and attentive service at reasonable prices. I enjoyed the chicken pot pie soup, although the sugar in the pie crust was quite strange. The chicken strips with butter and garlic, along with the garlic bread, were fantastic! I was too full for dessert, so I took some leftovers home. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Michelle was friendly and attentive, and the service was prompt! Lunch was delicious—served hot and in no time! Overall, it was a fantastic experience. I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was around $20–30. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. I highly recommend the fries!

The food was surprisingly better than the price suggested, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I ordered a cheesesteak with all the toppings, and it was so large that I couldn't finish it in one sitting, but I found it hard to stop eating. The leftovers were just as delicious later! Now the Honky Tonk is having karaoke every Thursday night until 12am once again no consideration for the neighborhood! Guess my kids will not be getting any sleep now Thursday Friday and Saturday! Atmosphere: 1
