The Horseshoes Country Pub Dining Room

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to grab lunch in the afternoon on NYE. I found the Horseshoes on a Google search, so booked a table as it looked good. It's a cute little countryside feel, cozy pub. Upon first looking at the menu (which has quite a lot of options), the prices seemed slightly higher than some other places in the area, but the waiting staff said that the portions come out large they weren't wrong! Food was very good and excellent value for money. I had the sausage and mash, and a side of onion rings. My other half had the pork bellies and we shared a side of cream spinach. Was all great. This is a small country pub, the garden is very small, and we sat in a marquis at the front. The staff are helpful and friendly and the food is tasty and well presented, the portions are very generous.
