We went out late, The Hungry Chef was one of few that was still open. After comparing with another place nearby, we chose this one and it was good decision! We did Make your won style. You got exactly what you wanted on the pizza. We each ordered a 10". My bacon, ham, spinach and onion was delicious! and with lots of cheese. Hubby's olive, bacon, pepperoni and mushroom was good too. I was concerned that it wasn't enough food for two of us, but we had almost a whole pizza to bag away. It was a very satisfying dinner, the restaurant was clean, and airy, the service was friendly, price for the meal, with two beer including tax before gratuity was under $42(CND).
Everytime im in Harrison i look for a good decent place for happy hour and food...and when i looked it up on tripadvisor it said these guys had happy hour and lots gor appies and burgers quite an attractive menu..Turns out that they only serve pizza and salad and their special of the day..Wanted a burger and had to settle for salad..which was very basic and pizza for everybody else..Pizza was ok but just that..i dont think they deserve the high rating they boast of having on Tripadvisor..and please change their menu its misleading
The restaurant serves delicious shepherd's pie and hand-pulled pizza with high-quality ingredients. Although I initially went there for lunch, I had to come back for dinner as they only open at 4. The staff was very attentive with the children. The beer menu includes a great selection of local and regional microbrews in bottles, which is understandable as they may not have enough turnover for kegs yet. It's worth visiting as they continue to grow.
Was here last August...wrote a glowing review... Returned several weeks ago expecting new and improved after 'winter renovations closure' The menu is now pizza... THATS IT? Yup, just pizza... next door to the best pizza around? Yup really. Gone are the great burgers on home made buns... I don't think this place will last w such a limited menu next to undisputedly better fare. The meal ok...but we are very diappointed.
Picked up a pizza from this little place on our recent visit to Harrison. We were concerned when we went into the restaurant as there wasn't a soul inside, but decided to throw caution to the wind and place an order to go--and we weren't disappointed. Nice, fresh ingredients, and well-prepared. A great option for those looking for an inexpensive meal out.
Came here with the entire family and a few friends. The pizza is made to order, the staff is super friendly, the environment is very warm and they have a good selection of beers. Everyone left with a full tummy and smiles on their faces. Highly recommend if you're visiting in the area.
