The Ice House Bar And Restaurant, Portstewart

We went in about 7pm on Saturday, and to be fair, they were quite busy. Seeing that they were busy, I asked one of the servers if they could take us- totally fine if not- she said yes, but it would be the window stools looking over the building site. That was ok. We took them and they brought us over cutlery and menus. Then they totally ignored us. We sat for a while and then decided we'd wait 15 minutes before leaving. We waited that and then we just got up and left. On the way out, we met the server we'd interacted with first. Her face kind of dropped but she didn't say anything. WELCOMING. GREAT LOCATION. Food is delicious. Tables are perfectly spaced, lots of room. The service is excellent and professional. The atmosphere is so relaxing. The music made me smile and hum along to, yet at a level which never interfered with conversation. Views are outstanding. Cosy bar downstairs, also given choice to dine on this level. Upstairs extends to an outdoor area to enjoy a drink and a meal. All areas are very clean, bright and welcoming. Don't leave Portsteward before spending time at The Ice House.

Absolutely incredible bar, amazingly friendly professional and helpful staff..their espresso martini is one of if not the best I've ever had ...cant wait to come back again next year for the nw200 amd your superb food and drinks
