Wonderful! A beautiful old building, clean and modern but with character inside. Took advantage of the lunchtime offer of 2 courses for £9.99. Fish and chips (very generous portion) which were delicious followed by bread and butter pudding strips, with sultanas, caramel and icing sugar together with custard and ice cream. Staff were very helpful, particularly a blonde girl with pony tail. She gave me plenty of good advice when I couldn't make up my mind.

Visiting the city decided to have a bit to eat before returning home. So we booked in and sat in the beer garden, we'll laid out, could sit under cover or in the open. I went here with friends for lunch. The inside deco is lovely and clean everywhere. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was lovely and enough also plenty of choices. I was impressed with a staff member bringing a bowl of water and dog biscuits for my dog. Will definitely be going back.
I called for lunch, because we liked the old world view from outside. had a pint of local ale that was very good and ordered two philly steak baguettes that were excellent, the fries we ordered were a little under cooked, but ok. nice friendly staff. try it.
Great staff and plenty of options available on the food and drinks front. The façade masks a large outdoor beer garden with outdoor sports viewing. The locations was clean and tidy and provided a healthy atmosphere to suit.
