The Island Rooftop

I recently enjoyed a boys lunch with 23 business associates set around the pool at this recently upgraded (read fully renovated) restaurant and might I say, I was very impressed.The boys, had been there before and knew some of the staff etc, however, to seat and successfully feed 23 hungry lads, let alone keep them from going dry, is no mean feat.Our food was excellent, bar/ drink service kept up with us all day, and then the price didn't make anyone want to do "the runner" afterwards lol.Credit where due here too, the new owners of The Islander, have taken a very run down, tired, backpacker infested hotel and turned it into a fresh, on trend, lively location and that's without the rooftop b...

My wife an myself dropped in for a few quite drinks and some food while staying at the Hilton Hotel.They've done an amazing job with the fit out of the roof top bar, nicely appointed fixtures throughout with great hardscaping and gardens to complement the overall design of the space.Drinks weren't to expensive and the food was reasonably priced and we thoroughly enjoyed the several dished we did order.Will be going back for sure!

Its a great Cavill ave dive to roll into straight after a hard night of surfing. Get a level above 6 so that you dont get the loudness of the vegas strip

The rooms are a bit outdated but for the price per night I couldn't really complain. Lots of backpackers staying here.
