Really disappointed as previously had a great experience. We were told there was a min wait and we waited a good minutes. Food was warm at the most not hot, then when we ordered desert the ice cream that accompanied it was running like it had been standing for a time. We did not have time to complain or have a new meal cooked as we were on our way to the airport to start our holiday and the fog was getting pretty thick. We have always gone to the toby carvery before holiday but thought we would have a change this year, will be going back to toby in the future if things do not change
Disappointed... It was Christmas Eve and our reservation was for As we walked in we were informed about the fact that the kichen was about to close!! We had to order in minutes literally and only among plates that didn't need grill because it was already off..everything was untasty an a waitress tod us that they were in hurry because the wanted to close and go home. Absolutely disappointed
Eating was really nice and much better than it is in the rule. unfortunately the service was müll (and it was not even busy). we sat on the back of the restaurant and then ignored for minutes. my man had to go and find a waiter and found them all in the bar, the same thing happened when we wanted to pay.
Excellent service. We ordered the burger with trip,e cooked chips. The burger was good but the chips were soggy and certainly not tripped fried. Disappointed but overall a good place to stop for food.

It's not a bad place to be. Inside, it could be anywhere. The decor is reminiscent of a classic old pub, even though locals know it was only constructed a few years ago.
our overall experience was good, although the service was a little slow because the lack of personal. also the roasts were not very hot. the meal was very tasty.
we got it after online booking to say that they were fully booked and there was no reservation for us, although I had the confirmation email
I really enjoy this restaurant! The open fire adds a cozy atmosphere, and the food is consistently delicious with generous portions.

This pub is located next to the main road leading into and out of the city center, but has a quiet ambiance inside.
Very pleasant atmosphere. Good service from friendly staff and interesting menu. Well worth a visit.
