The food was completely unappetizing and excessively greasy. It was so uninviting that we couldn’t finish most of our meals after just a couple of bites. The flavors lacked any real taste. To make matters worse, the service was rude, which only added to our disappointment. When we asked about the rum cake, we were informed that it wasn’t ready and they had no idea when it would be available. We had inquired about it before our meals arrived and honestly, we wouldn’t have ordered it anyway. I paid the bill, and for $50, I was extremely disappointed. The Jerk Joint is absolutely fantastic! I've been craving authentic curry ever since I left the Caribbean. Having lived and worked in Saint Thomas for several years and visited many islands in the region, I can confidently say this place delivers genuine flavors with just the right amount of spice, making you feel like you're at a roadside jerk stand in paradise! My only regret is that I didn’t discover it sooner! I tried the spicy chicken curry, and it was divine—so delicious that I’m already tempted to order it again tomorrow. Thank you, Jerk Joint! What a delightful surprise to find a little slice of the Caribbean in my hometown!

Wow, I can’t believe I found this gem in Appleton! It’s a small restaurant, but the flavors are outstanding. I can’t put into words how wonderful my first visit was. I ordered the Curry Chicken Bowl, Crazy Chicken, and ribs, along with a Doobie. The only regret I have is not grabbing a slice of the coconut cake that was sitting on the counter. This couple really knows how to whip up incredible dishes that whisk you away to the Caribbean, all made with love. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by College Avenue for takeout—it’s a cozy spot, so be sure to call ahead and enjoy their amazing food at home!

I tried three different flavors: mango habanero, sweet chili, and bombast, and they were all incredible! I also took home a jerk rib bowl, which was fantastic, although it was supposed to come with plantains. Overall, the customer service was excellent, and the food was delicious! If you’re looking for flavorful jerk chicken, I highly recommend this place! The prices were reasonable as well. I’ll definitely be back! Réservez une table maintenant

Both the service and the food were outstanding! The Jerk Chicken Sandwich was definitely worth the price and quite satisfying. It had a wonderful combination of cheese paired with a tender, flavorful piece of chicken, all heightened by delicious spices. The atmosphere is fantastic as well, with vibrant Caribbean decor and flags. I would happily return and recommend this restaurant to others.

Delicious and wonderfully spicy! I tried the three mango tacos, while my husband enjoyed the jerk chicken bowl, and we shared a slice of rum cake. We can't wait to return—there are so many exciting dishes on the menu that we want to sample!
