The Jug And Glass Inn

We’re in a motorhome nearby and came in for a drink on a walk, then went back for a meal the following night. It’s a small cosy bar with a similar small room behind for a few tables. Perfect for us as we prefer small intimate typical pubs. I had a fab home made mushroom risotto and my partner had slow cooked beef, his chips were big chunky ones, lovely. Excellent service, good beer and wine. This traditional pub is a rare find, offering delicious pub food at incredibly affordable prices. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff are very friendly. The portions are generous and definitely meant for humans, not cats. Other pubs should take note of this place. Overall, I give it a 5 out of 5 for rooms, service, and location. The hotel highlights include a great view, quiet atmosphere, and great value.

Lovely food, great choices on the menu, and very tasty when it arrived. And reasonable prices. Outside were picnic tables offering good views. The staff were very pleasant, friendly and helpful. The bar had a great atmosphere, and very dog friendly too. Service: 4 Location: 4

Nice pub near Harrington, food was great and service was very good, recommended for good pub food. Didn't use hotel, was just there to eat. Nearby activities: Great area for walking and cycling, very close to Tissington trail. Service: 5 Location: 5
