We went here for an upscale experience and were extremely disappointed. It was not busy when we ate there, but the service was unreasonably slow because our server kept going outside to smoke. The whole place was dingy. The tables were chipped, chairs were worn and torn, and there was trash and food all over the floor in the food prep area (which is in the middle of the dining room and visible to diners). When my drink was served, there were chunks of something floating in it. To top it all off, workers rolled a cart through the middle of the dining room with giant trash bags on it. Overall, the only thing upscale about The Keep was the price. Very disappointed because we were out for a spec...
Inattentive service, unimpressive and definitely over priced food. My partner’s steak was burnt even though it was medium rare and he had to cut 1/3 of it away in order to eat it. My short rib was tender but bland even the horseradish. The waiter only came to take our orders and no one checked in for drinks or food after order was taken. We had to ask for the table to be cleared and were not offered dessert options, just given the check, when we did. The atmosphere was pretty cool but definitely not worth what we paid. If the bill had been half as much, it still wouldn’t have been worth it.
Food and drinks were ok but the unprofessionalism of the kitchen staff was not. We were the only ones seated on our side of the restaurant and now I see why. From overhearing the staff loudly proclaim everyone get out when they weren 't closing for another 3 hours, to the cooks visibly huffing when they received an order, to a busser dragging an empty trash can across the floor next to us, it was clear. They do not want customers, so do them (and yourself) a favor and stay away.
This fantastic restaurant is located in a historic skyscraper from the early 20th century. The interior is beautifully decorated and the menu offers a great selection of dishes. The bartender is skilled at making delicious martinis. The small plates and entrees were perfectly executed. I ordered the chorizo and shrimp linguine, which had amazing flavors. After dinner, I went to see a play.

Underwhelming experience overall. Service was very slow and we were rushed by the waiter. We ordered appetizers and they came out separately. One of them which took so long that it was brought out after the entrees. The steak frites was not cooked as ordered but it was still good.
Very nice decor in Laveque Tower downtown Columbus. Small but good wine by the glass list. Entrees done perfectly. Linguine with shrimp excellent, as was salad with salmon. Attentive service. Relaxed pace for dinner.
Best thing about this place is that its adjacent to the Palace Theatre. Ambience was fine. Good was good. Service was not good took a long time to get a drink, we got dinners before salads.
The Keep was a fabulous place to eat!! The food was delicious and the wait staff was very nice and kind. We will go back!!
