"We had dinner here recently. We were able to walk to the Keg from the hotel. I had a half order of back ribs and my partner ordered the 10 oz prime rib. Lots of food and very tasty. Nice service as well."

Wow! Just wow! I called ahead to this location (from where I live in Calgary) knowing my husband who is away on a job was gunna be dining here this evening. I made a special request that the hostess would greet him by his first name and that he would be served up his favourite drink once seated. Ordered take out for my birthday from the Medicine Hat location. We picked up our food and when we arrived home and unpacked our order, part of it was missing. We called immediately to let them know and were put through to a manager. We were advised that we could come back and get the rest of the order or he would mail a gift card on the following Monday. Had my 1st year anniversary dinner at The Keg last weekend. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and clean. Had ordered the Bacon Wrapped Scallops for a starter. And had the striploin steak and mashed potatoes with sauteed mushrooms. Also order the Surf and Turf with rice for my wife. With the meals comes complimentary Sour dough bread with butter. We went for supper for our anniversary. We planned to make an evening of it. And it was wonderful. The waitress was an absolute doll. She never interrupted our meal, staggered our food so we weren't overwhelmed. The food was amazing. The bartender was a friend of ours and came over and said hello. It was nice seeing him. The service was great and it was the perfect way to spent our anniversary. The whole evening was a 5 out of 5. Thank you so much!
Just finished a job in town and a co-worker and I went out for steak dinner, my co-worker said enjoyed his meal and I ordered the rib steak bone in medium well. It was delicious as well as the sides that came with it, everything was spot on. I would definitely recommend eating here based on the 2 meals I enjoyed here while staying in town. The staff were all more than friendly and hospitable.
Was in to celebrate my wifes birthday. Overall the experience was great! Ruth our server was fabulous. The only issue we had..was where we were seated we could hear the TV in the lounge conflict with the sound coming out of the main speaker. It was very annoying. Ruth did try to solve the issue but unfortunately it was not happening. Management needs to review this and resolve this. Thanks
I visited The Keg with some friends for the first time and we will definitely return! The service from all the servers was fantastic and the food was worth the price. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the receptionist at the front made it clear she wasn't happy to be there and was quite rude while informing us of our wait time. We decided to celebrate our anniversary at the Keg. As usual the service and meal were awesome. The staff made us feel safe as they adhered to all of the COVID-19 protocols. I had the prime rib which was absolutely delicious. A BIG thank you to the Keg staff for making our dining experience special.
