The Keg Steakhouse Square One

I would give 4.5/5 if I could but... Food was great (I ordered steak and lobster tail with fresh veggies) and was super delicious. Ambiance was great however, my wife and I were celebrating our Anniversary and usually: 1) they ask if we'd like to sit in lounge or dining area 2) ask us if we're celebrating any special occasion (which we were) 3) butter for our lobster tail was not heated prior to us getting our full meal (usually the butter is placed in advance so that it has had time to melt) 4) in the past, we are offered a complementary Billy Miner's Pie [again, not a gripe... just perhaps change in restaurant policy] Matt and the rest of the Keg service were great; prompt with our drinks...

Had an excellent time. Went early on a Friday and sat on the patio. Can't believe I haven't been to The Keg before. I ordered the Filet and my wife got the Prime Rib. Both were cooked to perfection. They were melt in your mouth excellent! I enjoyed mine with an elevated Rye and Ginger, and it was quite tasty. My wife started with a blackberry daiquiri and then sipped a glass of Red with her dinner.

Great place reminiscent of Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Intimate setting and a great selection of meat, sea, and field. Steak was very well cooked, seared just enough to provide some crispy edges. Salad came crisp with flavorful cheese and fresh dressing. Veggies were delicious as well. Twice baked potatoes are a must at The Keg.

Impeccable service by our server Cassandra. Chris was also such a lovely gentleman who offered to take a picture of my sister and I. Will definitely return because of them and of course the food was amazing. Solid 5 stars. Thank you for such a wonderful experience ??

The rib eye steak was delicious. Ordered it Chicago style which was a touch too charred but still edible. The fried calamari was good but the pieces were small. Not worth the $18 price tag. This location was definitely better than the Dixon location.

I usually come to this location once a month on business travel and have never been disappointed. Good service and the steaks are pretty good.

It was unusually loud and noisy this evening. Lots of you get children and louder than usual.
