We loved that they placed us in a quiet tucked away location as requested. The server was friendly and efficient. The food was overpriced for what it is, the food was not up to the level of everything else happening. The coffee was not good or quality tasting. If you are going to charge top dollar I expect clean ingredients and exceptional flavor. I ordered the birria benedict, it would have been delicious if the waffle under the benedict had been thought of at all- instead it was a sweet vanilla buttermilk batter- off for the salty spicy meat topping. As for the peach cobbler, it was rather peculiar. It was so dark that another diner even joked, asking whether it was a lava cake. The topping was unlike any cobbler I've tried before; it was quite grainy.
On the positive side, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the service was generally good. However, we were seated in a small room filled with an overwhelming number of ceiling fans, making it feel very cold. I noticed other guests also complaining about the temperature, yet the fans remained on.

I was very disappointed in getting warm gin for a martini. I have no idea why. It took quite a bit of time getting our check because the wait staff was busy moving chairs around.
