Do yourself a favor and try this! I do not give out 5 stars easily. This Chinese restaurant brought me back to my childhood eating food on Spadina in Toronto's Chinatown. If you're into the authentic food which seemed like a mix of cantonese and sichuan, the entire menu looks amazing. If you're looking for fast, casual, take-out style chinese food, the last two pages on the menu are where you may find what you need. We had the beef chow fun (beef wide noodle), sichuan intestine hot wok, and a spicy salt and pepper squid. Our only complaint was that we didn't order more! The flavors of mala were tastefully added to our dishes and should not scare away those who are uninitiated. The texture was the highlight of the meal, and to top it off, we had some unique foods we don't see often enough in Michigan. We didn't have a chance to try the dim sum but we'll make the hour long drive back for sure for it. I think the owner was working tables when we came in and we cannot recommend this place enough.
