The Laughing Halibut

i went here with a client who wanted to try some authentic English food , I went here with my sister and my client and I was so amazed by the quality of the food that they have been providing , portions were filling too. The service was good , waiters really knew what they are serving and they were always happy to help you in the selection. This place is highly recommended.

A place which serves the most fresh, crisp and consistently delicious Fish and Chips. To another upside, the portions are huge and thus filling! In Fact, the two of us had split a small portion of fish and chips and were still satiated. Inclined a non fish loving person towards this place. Definitely worth visiting !

I have enjoyed both my meals here. The quality of the sea food here is excellent and comparable to North Shields. The service here is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They are also very honest, as my partner had left her bag behind here. A must try for those who haven't eaten here.

I have been visiting this place for a while now. I chanced upon it by default though. This place still serves the same food and it is still done to perfection. Not much has changed over 7 years and this is rather commendable. The service is great too with very friendly staff.

My family and I came here for a quick lunch because we wanted to continue sightseeing as soon as possible. The service is very friendly, the cod is amazingly delicious. When they said goodbye, the kids even got a lollipop. It was a good decision...to have lunch here.
